From Poland. In Reykjavík since 2013.

The author of a collection of short stories and poems, Polishing Iceland (Ísland pólerað), and the editor of an essay collection by foreign-born writers in Iceland Writer’s Adrift (Skáldreki).

I'm passionate about words and stories and I am educated in culture studies, creative writing, and visual art.

Since 2015, one of the board members and founding authors of Ós Pressan, a non-profit initiative and a publishing house established to bring out and promote new authors and to create an inclusive writing community in Iceland.

From 2019 to 2023, I was a writer and project manager at Reykjavík Ensemble, an international theatre company. My writing has been featured in the company’s performances, plays, and video productions: Opening Ceremony, Polishing Iceland, I Shall Always Return, Liminality, Fucking Genius.

I’ve been working as a Polish language consultant for Icelandic theatres (Þjóðleikhúsið, Gaflaraleikhúsið, Reykjavík Ensemble), supporting Icelandic actors, playwrights, and filmmakers.

My writing has been published in Icelandic journals (Tímarit Máls og Menningar, Ós - The Journal, Stundin) and exhibited during festivals and art shows in Iceland and abroad. I play around with private and public identities, personal stories, and memories in my texts. I write mainly in English while polishing my Icelandic.

In 2021, I was a columnist at Tímarit Máls og menningar, one of the oldest literary magazines in Iceland.

In 2022 and 2023, I received Listamannalaun, a prestigious Icelandic stipend from the government-funded Artists‘ Salary Fund.
